Pure Digital Chip
A microchip made of 2 million mirrors flicking at 5,000 times a second, capable of recreating 35 trillion colors.
This amazing little chip has 2 million mirrors that are spaced less than one micron apart, resulting in a very high "fill factor." By minimizing the gaps between pixels in a projected image, DLP projection systems create a seamless digital picture that's sharp at any size.

When you see a film in PURE DIGITAL CINEMA you are seeing and hearing exactly what the director envisioned. The presentation will be clear, bright, vibrant and free of outside impurities such as scratches and dirt.
Instead of using 35mm film (like in your camera), running at 24 frames per second, the image on the PURE DIGITAL CINEMA big screen is beamed via satellite or delivered by Hard Drive and stored in a JPEG file server. Powerful processors then decode this encrypted information and project a pure DIGITAL picture, through our Christie 2k digital projectors.
The Christie projector with DLP Cinema technology projects no fewer than 35 trillion colors, over eight times more than is possible with film. This technology comes closer than any other display solution to reproducing the exact mirror image of its source material also being mirror-based, they use light more efficiently. That's why images are always crystal clear and outshine most of the alternatives.
While the equipment installation and expense tops off around $250,000 (a quarter of a million dollars) per unit, UltraStar Cinemas has worked out financing which has allowed no increase in admission pricing at this time.
 Thanks in part to the 94 screens that UltraStar has made available in digital, more and more motion pictures are becoming available for digital projection. We think so! But you are the final judge. With 35mm film presentation over time scratches, sound pops and physical wear and tear break down the original pristine condition of the film. With PURE DIGITAL CINEMA the image is never distorted because it reverts to the original digital code; there is nothing to wear down the quality of the image.
Yes. The virtual print is digitally encoded for both sight and sound, and because the sound is not compressed into a small space like it is on 35mm you actually will hear a richer, clear sound than standard digital sound systems can deliver on their own.

PURE DIGITAL CINEMA Use the most advanced J PEG Technology. Even HD – DVDs use a mpeg format that compresses the picture and loose some data. J PEG Technology allows the full image to be show just as the director wanted.
Pure Digital Cinemas use 2000 lines of resolution to present the film by comparison a home HD TVs only offer 1080 lines on a much smaller size screen.
